Tour Plan (2 Days 1 Night)

Day 1: Bondowoso Hotel – Basecamp – Pondok Angin Campsite

  • 05:30 – 06:30: Hotel pickup in Bondowoso and transfer to Sumberwringin Basecamp.
  • 06:30 – 07:30: Registration (SIMAKSI), health check, and safety briefing.
  • 07:30 – 08:00: Motorcycle ride from Basecamp to Post 1 (Pondok Motor).
  • 08:00 – 16:00: Trekking through Post 2 (Pondok Sumur), Post 3 (Pondok Demit), and Post 4 (Pondok Mayang) to reach Post 5 (Pondok Angin).
  • 16:00 onwards: Set up camp at Pondok Angin, enjoy the sunset, dinner, and rest.

Day 2: Pondok Angin – Caldera Rim – Basecamp – Bondowoso Hotel

  • 03:00 – 03:30: Wake-up, light breakfast, and summit attack prep.
  • 03:30 – 05:30: Summit trek from Pondok Angin to Puncak Bendera / Raung Caldera Rim.
  • 05:30 – 07:30: Sunrise and panoramic views over the giant active caldera.
  • 07:30 – 09:00: Descend back to campsite at Pondok Angin.
  • 09:00 – 10:30: Breakfast, tent breakdown, and packing.
  • 10:30 – 15:00: Trek down to Post 1 (Pondok Motor).
  • 15:00 – 15:30: Motorcycle ride back to Sumberwringin Basecamp.
  • 15:30 – 17:00: Shower/freshen up at basecamp and transfer back to your hotel in Bondowoso. Trip complete.
