Itinerary (1 Day)
9:00 AM – Pickup Point:
In the morning, the trip begins from a pick-up point eg. at the hotel or airport by our guide, the group heads to a local cigar factory: BR Cigar, BIN Cigar or DNT
9:30 AM – Cigar Factory Tour:
Upon arrival, guests are invited to tour the factory, observe the handmade cigar rolling process, hear stories from the artisans, and experience the unique experience of tasting Jember’s signature cigars. Guests are invited to ask questions about the manufacturing process and the unique qualities of Jember cigars.
11:30 AM – Trip to the Tobacco Plantation:
Along the way, guests are treated to lush, rural scenery. Upon arrival at the plantation, they can get a closer look at the tobacco fields (during planting season), chat with the farmers if possible and learn about the long-standing philosophy and traditions surrounding tobacco cultivation in Jember.
12.30 PM – Coffee & Lunch Break:
As noon approaches, it’s time for lunch break. Guests are invited to take a break and enjoy warm coffee originally from Jember plantations. This relaxed atmosphere provides the perfect time to chat, take photos, and enjoy the fresh countryside air.
2:00 PM – Cultural Discussion & Sharing Session:
After lunch, the event continued with a discussion on tobacco culture. A relaxed session sharing stories about tobacco’s long history in Jember, its socio-economic role, and its significance for the lives of local communities. Time for photos and relaxation.
4:30 PM – Return to Hotel:
As the afternoon approaches, the group is invited back to the hotel. Along the way, guests take home not only experiences but also stories about Jember’s hospitality, culture, and unique flavors.
The trip ended with a warm impression and full of memories.
